Housing Rehabilitation Programs

IMPORTANT NOTE: Some participants in the city of Aurora’s home rehabilitation programs have reported receiving letters with deceiving and urgent language such as “Final Notice” or “Immediate Response Requested” regarding expiring home warranties related to their rehab work. The letter appears to be from the “Home Warranty Dept” and identifies the “Lender Info” as “CITY OF AURORA REHAB PROGRAM.” These notices are not from the city, and should be treated as unrequested and unnecessary solicitations. There is no action required by the homeowner. If you receive any information about your participation in the home rehab program and would like to check on its authenticity, please contact us at 303.739.7900 or [email protected]

Home repairs can be pricey. Income-qualified homeowners may be eligible for one or more housing rehabilitation programs as part of the city's federally funded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The CDBG program aims to provide decent housing for Aurora residents. The rehabilitation programs assist homeowners in making necessary health and safety repairs to their home. All programs are first-come, first-served until the funding is depleted.

Click through the tabs below to learn about each program.

Please note that these programs do not apply to mobile homes.

**Please note that we no longer offer Tree Removal Services under any of our programs at this time**
