Housing Rehabilitation Programs

Notice: Due to our current waitlist, we are only accepting applications for the Essential Home Repair Program at this time.

Home repairs can be pricey. Income-qualified homeowners may be eligible for one or more housing rehabilitation programs asHome Rehab Programs part of the city’s federally funded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The CDBG program aims to provide decent housing for Aurora residents. The rehabilitation programs assist homeowners in making necessary health and safety repairs to their home. All programs are first-come, first-served until the funding is depleted.

Income Qualifications for Programs

To qualify for the city's Housing Rehabilitation Programs, residents must meet income qualifications based on HUD's calculations per household size:
