HOA 101 Series
In partnership with Altitude Community Law, join this free, three-part educational series designed for current Homeowners Association (HOA) board members and anyone interested in how homeowners associations work. This program aims to empower neighborhood leaders, strengthen community connections and support vibrant neighborhoods across Aurora
The series takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 18 and 25 at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, Aurora Room. While attending all three classes is preferred, it’s not required. The topics that will be covered in this series include:

Board Member Basics: Collections/Foreclosures (Sept. 4): Learn the ins and outs of the collections process, including legal limits and best practices for handling delinquent accounts in your community.

Board Member Basics: Covenant Enforcement (Sept. 18): Explore the covenant enforcement process, including legal requirements, common pitfalls and steps to address rule violations effectively.

Mediation, Arbitration and Litigation (Sept. 25): Understand the differences between mediation, arbitration and litigation, and learn which method may best resolve your community’s disputes.
