The city's Language Access Plan sets forth the actions the city will take to ensure that persons with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) and persons with disabilities have meaningful access to city services, programs and activities. In accordance with federal guidelines, the city will make reasonable efforts to provide or arrange for free language assistance for LEP persons and persons with disabilities who have alternative communication needs (ASL). Fair Housing

Americans With Disabilities Act
The city of Aurora affirmatively supports the intent and purpose of the Americans With Disabilities Act. As a reflection of this support, the city shall not tolerate incidents of discrimination against individuals with disabilities either in its employment practices or in providing access to municipal services, activities or programs.
Although the city is not obligated to guarantee equal results, establish quotas or require preferences favoring individuals with disabilities over those without disabilities, the city shall make every effort to reasonably accommodate qualified individuals with disabilities.
