As a reflection of this support, the city shall not tolerate incidents of discrimination against individuals with disabilities either in its employment practices or in providing access to municipal services, activities or programs.
Although the ADA does not require the city of Aurora to take any action that would fundamentally alter the nature of its programs or services, or impose an undue financial or administrative burden, the city shall make every effort to reasonably accommodate qualified individuals with disabilities through provision of auxiliary aids, and through reasonable modifications to policies and programs, to ensure that individuals with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all of the city's programs, services and activities.
