Aurora Reservoir

Important Info:

Park Hours:
June/July - 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Updates: Swim Area Closed
The swim area at the Aurora Reservoir is currently closed due to elevated bacteria levels. We apologize for any inconvenience, please check back for updates. The kayaking, paddle boarding and boating section of the reservoir is still open to the public

Like any untreated, natural body of water, levels of certain bacteria fluctuate. It cures itself naturally, but when the levels are elevated, it’s best not to swim. We test the swim area regularly, and it’s not unusual for levels to elevate from time to time. As soon as the levels drop, we’ll open it back up.

Last updated 8:24 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18.
