Aurora transitioning to new emergency alert provider 

The city of Aurora is in the process of transitioning its emergency alert system from CodeRED (OnSolve) to Rave Alert (Motorola). Anyone who previously signed up for CodeRED will automatically be moved to Rave Alert and will experience no interruption in receiving city alerts. More information will be provided on this page soon as to how new users can sign up for alerts through Rave.

In addition to emergency alerts, the Office of Emergency Management recommends owning a NOAA Weather Alert Radio or tuning into local television and radio to stay alert of severe weather conditions. There are also a number of sites that provide weather notifications listed below.
