Field Services (Aurora Animal Control)

Our Animal Protection Officers maintain the highest standard of care for the community's animals and are proud to serve the residents of Aurora. Our officers are available to advise, assist and respond to a variety of animal-related issues, such as but not limited to: dogs running at large, aggressive animals, animal bites (wild or domesticated), cruelty/neglect situations, injured animals and noise or odor complaints. If you are involved in a life-threatening situation, please dial 911.

Animal Field Services Dispatch: 303.326.8288, option 6.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Staff are available on an on-call basis on Sundays until further notice.

After-Hours Emergencies: Call 303.627.3100. Our on-call officer will return your call to assess the situation. If this is a life-threatening emergency, dial 911 immediately.

Non-emergency concerns or questions can be submitted online through: Access Aurora.

Please be aware that animals picked up by our officers are housed at the Aurora Animal Shelter.
