Meeting Participation
When: The first Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
Where: Meetings are either in-person at specific locations or virtual on MS Teams platform. Virtual meetings can be joined from a computer with an internet connection, a smartphone, or by calling in from any phone.
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Meetings are open for the public to attend. Speaking opportunities for residents are available only during meetings that are public hearings. See Meeting Agendas below. Each agenda contains an MS Teams link and call-in information, if the meeting is held virtually.
To speak at a public hearing, please fill out the Speaker Sign-Up Form by the deadline of 5 p.m., the Tuesday prior to the hearing. Requests received after the deadline will be called on to speak during the hearing following speakers who have signed up by the deadline.
Written comments must be received no later than one week before the hearing be included in the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board packet. Send written comments to [email protected]. To provide public comments past the deadline, please complete a Speaker Sign-Up Form to provide verbal comment during the hearing.
If you have questions, please email [email protected] and staff will reply.
