Homeless Assistance
The city is not a direct service provider and funds agencies in the community to provide direct services to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Aurora Homeless Navigation Campus
The city is looking to build a regional homeless navigation campus to support those experiencing homelessness and provide homeless prevention services; this campus is expected to be completed fall 2025. Additional information will be posted about this project soon.
Outreach Team
The city works with community partners such as Mile High Behavioral Healthcare to form an outreach team to help address homelessness in the community. The outreach team is not an enforcement entity. Instead, they engage with people who are camping, living out of their vehicle or RV and work with them to access services in the community. Members of this outreach team are trained professionals with years of experience working with people experiencing homelessness.
County Human Services
