Field Services (Aurora Animal Control)

Our Animal Protection Officers maintain the highest standard of care for the community's animals and are proud to serve the residents of Aurora. Our officers are available to advise, assist and respond to a variety of animal-related issues, such as but not limited to: dogs running at large, aggressive animals, animal bites (wild or domesticated), cruelty/neglect situations, injured animals and noise or odor complaints.

If you are involved in a life-threatening situation, please dial 911.

Non-emergency concerns or questions can also be submitted online through: Access Aurora.

After hours for emergencies: 303.627.3100 (our on-call officer will contact you to assess the situation, dial 911 if it is a life-threatening situation).

Hours of Operation

8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Please be aware that animals picked up by our officers are housed at the Aurora Animal Shelter.
