Neighborhood Engagement Plans
Each neighborhood is unique in its people, its organization and its challenges, and no one understands that better than the residents who live there. To create a better level of understanding between a neighborhood and the city, Community Engagement Coordinators will host and facilitate a neighborhood meeting that includes city personnel from various departments to listen to residents identify and prioritize issues they see facing their community. A plan will be created to identify ways the city and residents can work collaboratively to improve upon areas of concern. Examples of potential topics include traffic, pets and wildlife, neighborhood maintenance and public safety.
