Classes and workshops are offered year-round for all ages and all skill levels in most mediums. Classes and workshops are taught by professional artists with advanced degrees and/or years of teaching expertise. Fees vary according to class.
Classes and workshops take place at several Aurora public libraries and recreation centers.

Hilliard Moore

Hilliard Moore retired from the telecommunications industry and opened the Great Western Art Gallery in Downtown Denver. As an artist, he specialized in painting Black Cowboys in the old west along with Cavalry and pioneers. The paintings were done from actual photographs taken during that time period. Art shows include the El Pueblo Museum and the Colorado History Society. His painting of Bill Pickett was displayed at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum.
Terra Necessary
Terra Necessary is a freelance illustrator, member of Atomic Pixies and educator. They have always worked to pursue art through a pop culture lens, working their art booth diligently at cons while earning a BFA in Drawing from Metro State College of Denver. They have shown and spoken on art and queer pop culture at shows across the U.S. including Denver Pop Culture Con, Anime Expo, Otakon, Planet Comic Con, Drag Con, and more; as well as creating the queer event Dandy Con. With the Atomic Pixies they explore pop culture, science and fantasy through an art nouveau lens, and were recently featured in Westword.
