Aurora Fire crews respond to a vehicle into a building leading to 3 injured, 2 in serious condition.
At approximately 1:40pm, Aurora Fire Rescue was dispatched to reports of a serious motor vehicle crash with a vehicle into a building near Hampden Ave. & Uravan way. The first arriving units found two vehicles involved in the collision with patients requiring auto extrication from one in order to gain access and begin medical treatment.
Crews completed a rapid extrication and began treating 3 patients for injuries as a result of the accident. 2 patients were found to have serious and potentially life threatening injuries, they were treated on scene and rapidly transported to local emergency departments. The 3rd patient was treated and released on scene as they declined further treatment or transport.
