Single family residence fire in north Aurora quickly brought under control.
At approximately 2:20 pm this afternoon, Aurora Fire Rescue crews responded to reports of a fire in a single family residence in the area of Ironton St. and Montview Blvd. in north Aurora. Crews arrived on scene and quickly identified the location of the fire and brought it under control rapidly with hose lines.
Fire crews completed searches of the home, finding only small pets that they returned to their owner outside the residence. No other victims found in the residence and no parties reported any injuries as a result of the fire.
At this time, the cause is still under investigation and it does not appear as though the occupants will be displaced as a result of fire.
