Aurora Internet Crimes Detectives Arrest 2 with 17K Child Sexual Abuse Images, Videos

(Jan. 27, 2026) – Two investigations by the Aurora Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Unit have led to the recent arrests of two suspects who collectively were in possession of over 17,000 images and videos of child sexual abuse material.
“Every image and every video represents the abuse of a real child. These are not files or data; they are innocent victims who deserve protection, dignity and justice,” said Marc Paolino, commander of the Aurora Police Department Investigations Bureau. “This is among the most serious and harmful crimes we investigate, targeting children within our most vulnerable population.
“The work of the men and women of the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, alongside our partners with the Colorado Cyber Guardian Task Force, is relentless and essential. Their dedication ensures offenders are identified, held accountable and removed from our community while giving victims a voice and pursuing justice on their behalf.”
The suspects, Orlando Archuleta, 53, and Dzhamshed Yusupov, 37, both of Aurora, were each arrested Friday on active felony warrants by the Aurora Police Department Fugitive Apprehension and Narcotics Unit.
Archuleta was arrested on five charges of felony sexual exploitation of a child. Yusupov was arrested on seven charges of felony sexual exploitation of a child. Both are free on $10,000 bond.
The charges against Archuleta stem from March 2025 when Aurora Internet Crimes detectives received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about an online account holder sharing or possessing child sexual abuse material. Additional investigation determined the account’s IP address was in Aurora.
Detectives executed a search warrant at Archuleta’s house and seized multiple electronic devices. A forensic examination of those devices revealed over 15,000 images of child sexual abuse material.
The investigation into Yusupov also was initiated through a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Received in January 2025, the cyber tip referenced an online account holder in Aurora that was either sharing or possessing child sexual abuse material.
Numerous electronic devices were seized when detectives served a search warrant at Yusupov’s house. An examination of those devices revealed 69 images and more than 2,600 videos of child sexual abuse material.
Archuleta and Yusupov are both charged in Arapahoe District Court. The investigations are active and ongoing. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720.913.STOP (7867). Tipsters can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
The Aurora Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Unit is partnered with Homeland Security Investigations, the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation as part of the Colorado Cyber Guardian Task Force, which is comprised of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies in the Denver metro area. The task force focuses on child exploitation and child sex trafficking investigations.
