Aurora-South Metro Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
Aurora is dedicated to assisting small businesses achieve their goals of growth, management improvement and financial success. The Aurora-South Metro SBDC is part of a statewide network of centers and the city of Aurora is the first, and currently only, municipality to serve as host office for an SBDC in Colorado.
Aurora Economic Development Council
The Aurora Economic Development Council (AEDC) maintains a leadership position within the state’s most promising growth industries, including aerospace and defense, bioscience, health sciences, renewable energy and transportation and logistics. AEDC is a public/private partnership dedicated to enhancing the economic strength of the city of Aurora by recruiting new primary employers, retaining existing primary employers and assisting current primary employers to expand in the city.
Aurora Chamber of Commerce
The Aurora Chamber of Commerce is an action-oriented membership organization that serves as the leading business voice in the eastern metro area. The chamber is a strong voice for the business community in Aurora, and is consistently represented on the city’s Business Advisory Board.
Arapahoe/Douglas Works!
Arapahoe/Douglas Works! Workforce Center is a member of the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment’s statewide network of workforce centers, which provide a variety of no-cost services to job seekers and businesses. Arapahoe/Douglas Works! serves as a critical resource to connect people and businesses in Arapahoe and Douglas counties, and throughout the Denver/Aurora metropolitan region.
Visit Aurora
Established in 2010 as one of Colorado’s newest tourism organizations, Visit Aurora contracts with the city of Aurora to market Aurora, Colorado, as a destination to those visiting, hosting an event, or traveling to Buckley Air Force Base or one of Aurora’s top-ranked medical facilities.
Adams County Regional Economic Partnership
Adams County Regional Economic Partnership (ACREP) is a public/private, nonprofit economic development organization serving Adams County, its 10 municipalities (including Aurora), more than 10,000 companies and just over half a million residents. ACREP can help with large-scale site selection in Adams County for primary employers.
Office of Economic Development and International Trade
The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) works with statewide partners to create a positive business climate that encourages dynamic economic development and sustainable job growth. The office offers a host of programs and services tailored to support business development at every level including business retention services, business relocation services, and business funding and incentives.
