Summer will be here before you know it. How will your child be spending their days? Ensure your child's days are filled with learning, laughter and fun, all while being supervised by youth care professionals. From camps that inspire the outdoor adventurer to camps that nurture the next creative genius. We have something to match every child’s interest in our Summer Camps Guide!
You can select from over 100 camps, but if you need a little help narrowing down some options, we have some recommendations for you below.

For the kiddos who like to keep moving

ROCK CLIMBING CAMP
Ages 8 to 12
#7252 Monday, June 8 to Friday, June 12, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Ubergrippen Denver, 8610 E. 21st Avenue
Cost: $240 ($210 Resident)
Campers learn essential climbing skills and will be able to challenge their limits at a state-of-the-art facility with various wall terrains to choose from.

FIELD TRIP TO NINJA NATION
Ages 7 to 12
#7135 Friday, July 10, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Central Recreation Center, 18150 E. Vassar Place
Cost: $94 ($75 Resident)
During this field trip, youth will get a chance to engage in a world-class obstacle course that allows them to live out their dream as an “American Ninja Warrior”. A lunch and afternoon snack will be provided by Aurora Public Schools.

INDOOR SOCCER CAMP
Ages 11 to 15
#7175 Monday, July 20 to Friday, July 24, 12:30 to 3 p.m.
Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse, 25400 E. Alexander Drive
Cost: $206 ($165 Resident)
Kids will have a day full of activities, games, scrimmages and soccer-themed fun. The week ends with the Dutch Style tournament where participants showcase their skills.

For the time travelers

AURORA’S LIFE HISTORY CAMP
Ages 11 to 16
#7073 Tuesday, June 16 to Thursday, June 18, 9 a.m. to noon
Morrison Nature Center, 16002 E. Smith Road
Cost: $50
From habitat restoration to wildlife monitoring, this camp combines environmental stewardship, Aurora’s colorful history and adventure. Camp starts and ends at Morrison Nature Center, with campers transported to other open
spaces for hands-on learning and stewardship activities.

SPECIALTY CAMP: JURASSIC ENGINEERING USING LEGO® MATERIALS
Ages 7 to 12

Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse, 25400 E. Alexander Drive
Cost: $250 ($200 Resident)
In partnership with Play-Well TEKnologies, campers will travel back in time with the dinosaurs. This course challenges students to collaborate, innovate and deepen their understanding of biology and engineering, all while bringing the Jurassic world to life.

OLD-FASHIONED CRAFTS CAMP
Ages 12 to 16

Delaney Farm, 170 S. Chambers Road
Cost: $131 ($105 Resident)
Youth will explore crafts like spinning, embroidery, quilting and weaving. Supplies will be provided, and we will teach you what you need to know to complete several small crafts during the week or to continue crafting all summer.
 
For the creative spirits

SPECIALTY CAMP: LEGO® STORYTELLING
Ages 5 to 12

Cost: $170 ($140 Resident)
Participants will craft imaginative narratives while building captivating scenes from well-known themes like Star Wars, Minecraft, Animal Crossing and more, enhancing their communication skills and creativity.

MUSIC CAMP
Ages 7 to 12
#7261 Monday, June 22 to Thursday, June 25, 10:30 a.m. to noon
Aurora Central Library, 14949 E. Alameda Parkway
Cost: $106 ($85 Resident)
This camp introduces young musicians to basic music concepts, including rhythm, melody and instruments. Through fun activities and interactive lessons, students will explore a variety of musical styles and learn to appreciate the joy of making music.

DAY WITH THE ART STUDENTS LEAGUE OF DENVER
Ages 7 to 12

Central Recreation Center, 18150 E. Vassar Place
Cost: $88 ($70 Resident)
Art Students League of Denver who will lead out-of-the-box art projects. The day also includes swimming at Central Recreation Center pool, so campers should come prepared to swim. A lunch and afternoon snack will be provided by Aurora Public Schools.

COSMIC SPACE ROBOT CAMP
Ages 7 to 14

Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse, 25400 E. Alexander Drive
Cost: $212 ($170 Resident)
Campers will engage in constructing miniature versions of actual spacecraft such as rovers, rocket ships and drones. This program is designed for beginners so participants can explore the intricacies of space technology, guided by instructors.

MARVEL RIVALS: HERO CAMP
Ages 10 to 14

Expo Community Center, 1095 E. Exposition Ave.
Cost: $120 ($100 Resident)
Campers will team up to master game mechanics, compete in thrilling battles, and build skills in teamwork and sportsmanship. Whether you're aiming to dominate the competition or just love the excitement of the Marvel Universe, this camp is the ultimate gaming adventure!

STEM AND SPORTS: FLAG FOOTBALL
Ages 8 to 11

In partnership with SkyHawk Sports, each session develops the core fundamental skills of the sport, while introducing sports-themed science, technology, engineering and math concepts. Short, engaging STEM activities are seamlessly woven into play, helping young athletes connect movement to discovery.

BONUS: City of Aurora Preschool Camps
City of Aurora preschools are the perfect way for toddlers to explore, play and learn, while being supervised by experienced staff. Each week will explore new themes through games, crafts and skill building activities.
