In late 2015, the Aurora City Council approved the creation of a new 6.8-acre urban renewal area at the northeast corner of South Sable Street and East Alameda Avenue. The Alameda Center Urban Renewal Plan establishes a single TIF Area covering the entire plan area to facilitate the redevelopment of the existing bank and shopping center into a quality transit-oriented development.
