Hemp Processing/Product Manufacturing Licensing
Industrial hemp is defined as a plant of the genus Cannabis and any part of the plant, whether growing or not, containing a THC concentration of no more than (0.3%) on a dry weight basis.
The Aurora City Council approved an ordinance for the manufacturing of industrial hemp. Applications for manufacturing hemp are being accepted at this time.
A Pre-Licensing Meeting is required prior to submitting a Hemp Processing/Manufacturing license application. Contact the Licensing Division at [email protected] or 303.739.7833 to request the meeting. After attending the Pre-Licensing Meeting, please complete the Hemp application form and follow the instructions on the form for submittal.
