The Office of Internal Audit has the authority, per City Code Section 2-66, to conduct audits of all departments, boards, activities and agencies of the city. The office reports directly to the City Manager and has a dotted line organizationally to the City Council's Management and Finance Committee, which serves as the audit committee.
