Description: The colorful sculpture refers to the historic ticker tape parades that greeted returning soldiers after World War II. At night, the interactive LED lighting feature will briefly flicker a responsive greeting to those who walk close by. This artwork represents a partnership between the Aurora Housing Authority and the Art in Public Places Program.

Description: A unique and dynamic experience awaits visitors to Windy Plumes Park in Green Valley Ranch. The concept for "Listen to the Whispering Winds" references native leaf and grass forms and the colors of the high plains. These design elements are combined into a swooping, swirling, environment that forms an attractive sculpture and wayfinding element while also serving as a seating area and a place for people to gather along the Regional Trail.
