Plan today for the Water-wise Landscape of tomorrow!

Water Conservation offers free professional water-wise landscape designs to all Aurora Water customers, regardless of the current condition of your yard. This program can help you replace high-water, high-maintenance bluegrass or redesign your landscape using low-water, climate-appropriate plants without sod. Sign up below to get started.

There is no in-person component to this program. We consult by phone, email, PDF, photo and aerial mapping.

Choosing to transform your landscape into a water-wise yard can feel overwhelming. We recommend working with our landscape design team to create a customized water-wise landscape design. This design gives you a clear plan for pricing, scheduling, installing your landscape and submitting plans to your HOA. Once you have a completed design and have healthy bluegrass, you may be eligible to apply for the Grass Replacement Incentive
Program.

Before registering, consider which area will be your landscape project area. Choose either front yard, front and side yard, front and curbside or curbside

There are many water-wise design resources online, but below are nine design examples that comply with Aurora city code. Each example is associated with a garden theme that address a specific challenge, like ample shade, or a particular aesthetic, like a prairie garden.
