The city of Aurora’s Office of International and Immigrant Affairs (OIIA) will host the third event in the Innovation Unlimited 2026 series, a citywide business conference designed to promote and support entrepreneurship in Aurora’s immigrant and refugee communities.

This conference, focused on the local Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community, is presented in partnership with the Asian Chamber of Commerce Colorado and will take place from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at APS Professional Learning and Conference Center, 15771 E. First Ave. Interested entrepreneurs can register at Tinyurl.com/ConferenceOIIA.

One of the key goals of the city’s Immigrant Integration Plan is to support immigrant and refugee entrepreneurs by expanding training, improving access to information, strengthening economic integration and lowering barriers to starting a business. In line with that mission, the third event in the Innovation Unlimited 2026 series will feature panels and speakers on how to launch a business, secure capital, work with government agencies and navigate the demands of digital marketing. The conference will also highlight local success stories and offer networking opportunities for new and established entrepreneurs.

“Entrepreneurs from the AANHPI community have a significant impact on Aurora’s economic growth, and we’re proud to continue building strong partnerships that help businesses thrive through these conferences,” said Ricardo Gambetta, manager of Aurora's Office of International and Immigrant Affairs. “This conference offers a creative and supportive space to uplift Aurora’s diverse business community through interactive workshops, distinguished speakers and inspiring success stories, all designed to empower and connect current and future entrepreneurs.”

Panels will feature local business owners, leaders and experts, including the city of Aurora Licensing and Purchasing Divisions, CEDS Finance, Colorado Enterprise Fund, the Asian Chamber of Commerce, Aurora Asian Pacific Community Partnership, the Pakistani Community of Colorado, the Colorado Asian Culture & Education Network, Banh & Butter Bakery Café and eatdrinketc.

As a leading supporter of small-business development in Aurora, OIIA has successfully hosted two business conferences as part of the Innovation Unlimited series. These conferences included one for the local Hispanic community last December and another for the African community in June of this year.

Community members, business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the resources, connections and expert guidance available throughout the conference.
