Aurora Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire near 16900 East Wagon Trail Parkway at approximately 8:15 pm.
AFR found single-story, single-family residents with active fire. Fire crews quickly went to work deploying hose lines, connecting to fire hydrants, and searching for occupants.
AFR promptly extinguished the fire, and due to their efficient work, AFR prevented the fire from extending into the neighboring buildings. Two adults were treated for non-life-threatening injuries on scene and denied transport to the hospital. One family has been displaced due to the fire damage to the home. The fire is under investigation, and no further updates are expected.
