Aurora, CO, June 20, 2024—At approximately 4:30 pm this afternoon, Aurora Fire Rescue received a report of a structure fire near the 19000 Block of E Iowa Circle. When the fire trucks arrived, they discovered a fire outside, near the exterior of the garage wall, threatening to enter the garage service door and potentially other outside and neighboring properties and exposures.
The fire crews promptly deployed hose lines and sprayed water on the fire. They hooked up large hose lines to hydrants for water and conducted searches for missing people or pets. Their firefighting efforts were swift and efficient, bringing the fire under control and preventing further damage to the home and neighboring houses.
There are no reported injuries, and the fire is under investigation until investigators determine the cause. No further updates are anticipated.
