Earlier this morning, at approximately 9:25 a.m., there was an incident at Aurora Reservoir. A small boat capsized, and one person was in the water. Thankfully, the Aurora Reservoir Park Rangers quickly responded and pulled the person out of the water, providing first aid. Aurora Fire Rescue arrived shortly after, providing advanced life support and transporting the patient to a local hospital. Initially, AFR requested additional support from South Metro Fire Rescue's Dive Team. However, upon learning that only one person had sustained injuries and was out of the water, the Dive Team's support was no longer needed. AFR specialty teams also searched the shoreline but did not locate any other people who had suffered injuries.
