Earlier this morning, at around 9:51 AM, Aurora Fire Rescue responded to a fire near 1500 North Kingston Street. The fire was reported in a 3-story church with a garden level. Upon arrival, AFR found a working fire in the church's garden level. Thankfully, fire crews worked efficiently to save the building, prevent the fire from extending to the other floors, and prevent injuries. We are grateful to report that no injuries were reported. The cause and origin of the fire are currently under investigation, and it is uncertain if they can hold service this Sunday.
