At approximately 10:10 AM, Aurora Fire Rescue responded to reports of a structure fire near 21700 East Kent Drive. Upon arrival, AFR found a two-story single-family house with a kitchen fire. AFR crews quickly extinguished the kitchen fire and searched the home for any victims. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the home is still habitable. The cause of the fire was determined to be unattended rechargeable batteries. It is crucial to avoid such incidents by removing rechargeable batteries once they are fully charged.
