The Aurora Police Department Major Crime Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting
(Jan. 25, 2024) – The Aurora Police Department Major Crime Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday night in the 18000 block of E. Kentucky Ave.
Approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of an injured adult male. When officers arrived, the found the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased early Wednesday morning.
Suspect information is not available at this time. The investigation is active and ongoing.
The deceased individual will be identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.
