Multi-vehicle accident with extrication at Mississippi Ave. & Peoria St. injures 5.
At approximately 11:19pm on September 1st, Aurora Fire Rescue responded to reports of a serious motor vehicle crash involving four vehicles near the intersection of Mississippi Ave. and Peoria St.
Upon arrival, the first arriving crew completed a patient assessment and found that there was a total of 5 patients with minor/non life threatening injuries. One vehicle had a trapped patient inside, requiring auto extrication to gain access and free the occupant. All patients were taken to area hospitals via ambulance for further medical evaluation and treatment. The accident is under investigation via APD at this time.
