At approximately 0146, Aurora Fire Rescue responded to reports of a vehicle into a house. Upon arrival fire crews found a two-vehicle accident one vehicle going into a home. The house suffered damage, however, no one inside the home was injured. Fire and EMS crews medically assessed patients, and only one patient was transported with non-life-threatening injuries. Due to the damage of the home, AFR had our Technical Rescue Team respond. When TRT arrived, their shoring equipment was used (this equipment is used to stabilize a structure) to stabilize the house. The building department was notified, as well as Red Cross, however, the homeowner decided not to use them. Nothing further to report.
