3 family pets rescued from a single family residential fire in the 19000 block of E Eldorado Pl.
At approximately 2:35pm this afternoon, AFR units were dispatched to a reported fire in the 19000 block of E Eldorado Pl. Upon arrival, crews found active fire conditions in the attic spaces and proceeded to access the area to extinguish the fire. AFR crews quickly brought the fire under control and proceeded to complete searches for any occupants and hidden fire that might have spread around the residence. A primary and secondary search of the residence was completed and 2 cats and 1 dog were safely evacuated. All hidden fire was found and extinguished. Initial witness reports were that the fire started as a result of a lighting strike to the residence but an investigation as to the cause and origin is currently under way.
