A fire in an office building required a second-alarm response from Aurora Fire Rescue this afternoon near Parker Rd. and Yale Ave.
Callers reported the emergency just before 4 p.m. today, and many on scene reported portions of the building impacted by heavy smoke conditions inside the structure at 2620 S. Parker Rd. Due to the quick work of firefighters, the fire was contained to two office units and the majority of the north wing of the building remained unaffected.
All occupants safely evacuated and there were no injuries. Fire investigators are continuing their work at the building to determine the origin and cause of the blaze. That investigation is expected to continue into the evening hours.
