Strategic Plan
The city of Aurora recognizes the ongoing impacts of youth violence affecting the community. The city is committed to addressing the needs of individuals and communities most adversely impacted by youth violence. This important work involves collaboration with key partners, is community-led and youth informed.
On May 23, 2022, City Council approved the Aurora Youth Violence Prevention Strategic Plan. This plan provides a clear vision of the city's goals, strategies and objectives as it continues to address youth violence as a public health crisis.
