Aurora Water is sensitive to the needs of our community and recognizes some customers may have difficulty paying their water bills at times due to a medical crisis, job loss or other challenges. We created Aurora Water Cares to provide bill payment assistance so our limited-income customers experiencing challenges don’t need to worry about how they are going to take a shower, do laundry or wash the dishes.

About Aurora Water Cares

Aurora Water Cares helps families who are past due on their water bills with up to $400 in assistance once per 12 months, with a limit of four lifetime awards. Payments are made directly to the utility on the customer's behalf.

How to apply

If you need help paying your bill, we have several options for applying for assistance. 

• The fastest and easiest way to apply is with your SpryEngage account at MyAccount.AuroraWater.org. Once you've logged into your existing account, access the Aurora Water Cares form and upload your information.
  
  
• You can also set up a SpryEngage account at MyAccount.AuroraWater.org. The links below can walk you through the process. 

If you do not have a SpryEngage account, you can also submit an online application.

You must complete both steps for your application.

1. Click the application button below and complete the form.
2. After completing the form, be sure to email the required income verification documents, a copy of your photo ID and your recent water bill through this email link.

Once completed, you can drop off or mail the completed form, along with the required income verification documents, a copy of your photo ID and your recent water bill to either:

Donate

Many of us take for granted the ability to brew a pot of coffee or sink into a nice hot bath. But some of our neighbors struggle to pay for water to run the dishwasher or flush the toilet. To financially support Aurora Water Cares, customers can do one of the following:

• Non-Aurora Water customers may donate through Spirit of Aurora by calling 1.833.55WATER (1.833.559.2837).
• Stop by the Cashier's Office at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway.
• Mail a donation by filling out the section at the bottom of the water bill and returning it with a payment.

Contributions start as low as $1. Your donation may be tax-deductible and will help your neighbors maintain water service in their homes during challenging times.
