Shelter Hours (until further notice):
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The shelter is closed Tuesday and Sunday.
After Hours for Lost & Found Injured and Ill Pets
Injured and ill pets found after hours, can be taken VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital at 9770 E. Alameda Ave., Denver, CO 80247. If possible, please contact them at 303.366.2639 prior to arriving. The pet will remain at VCA until they can arrange pick up with the shelter. This service is for injured and ill lost and found pets only. Please note that VCA is not associated with the Aurora Animal Shelter, any questions pertaining to the shelter should be directed to the Aurora Animal Shelter.
