Get to know ADA's Recreational Youth Dance Classes
Aurora Dance Arts offers professional dance instruction in many styles for all ages, with a special program of classes for youth that are interested in exploring dance as a recreational activity.
Classes in the Youth Recreational Dance Program are offered quarterly, in the seasons of Summer, Fall, Winter & Spring.
Classes in this program are offered for flat-rate fees for anywhere from seven to eight week sessions. Highly qualified and dedicated instructors teach skilled dance classes for ages 3-18 & everyone in-between. Current class styles include: creative movement, ballet, tumble & hip hop. These classes offer students the opportunity to start their dance journey in a fun, creative & welcoming atmosphere. If students enjoy classes in the Youth Recreational Dance Program, they often transfer into more in-depth, progressive training in the Continuous Children’s Dance Program.

*Please also note that Aurora Dance Arts offers a more expansive schedule of classes in our Recreational Dance Program during the Summer Session. This program in 2024 is entitled The Sunsational Summer Dance Program. Along with our weekly class schedule, we also offer a variety of camps, workshops and intensives for Youth students. Summer is the most specialized season in our Recreational Dance Program and is intended to be a supplement to the specialized training that youth dancers receive throughout the school year in our 9-Month Continuous Children's Dance Program. Get to know ADA's Recreational Adult Dance Classes
Aurora Dance Arts offers professional dance instruction in many styles for all ages, with a special program of classes catering to adult dancers.
Classes in the Adult Dance Program are offered quarterly, in the seasons of Summer, Fall, Winter & Spring. Classes in this program are offered for flat-rate fees for anywhere from five to eight week sessions. Highly qualified and dedicated instructors teach skilled dance classes for ages 18 to 100 and everyone in-between. Current class styles include: contemporary, jazz, tap (two levels of tap offered) & ballet (two levels of ballet offered). These classes offer a fun, creative work-out in a social dance setting & a welcoming atmosphere.
