PLEASE NOTE: Special Event Proposals are closed for the season. Reviews of Special Event Proposals for events taking place during the 2025 calendar year will begin on Monday, February 3, 2025. Temporary Use Permits are available for events held from April 1 to October 31.
The city of Aurora offers well-maintained parks, beautiful open space areas and two scenic reservoirs. A Park and Open Space Permit is required, and a fee will be assessed, at any city-owned park, recreation area, open space site, trail or reservoir if the request is for commercial use, or if the proposed activity will impact other park users and/or general park operations.
