All lobbyists and any person communicating directly, or soliciting others, to communicate with a covered official for the purpose of influencing or persuading a covered official must register with the city clerk using the city of Aurora Lobbyist Reporting system each year by Jan 15, or before conducting any lobbying. City officers, city employees, and city board members acting in their official capacity are not required to register.
Clients must also register in the city of Aurora Lobbyist Reporting system to authorize the lobbyist to lobby on their behalf. An email will be sent to the client with a link and token to register only after the lobbyist registration is submitted.
