We are thrilled to bring the Aurora Mini-Con back to you in person this year! We have a few convention rules that we would like to share so that our mini-con can be a place that everyone can enjoy.

We ask that all attendees respect commonsense rules for public behavior, personal interaction, common courtesy, and respect for private property. Harassing or offensive behavior will not be tolerated. Aurora Mini-Con reserves the right to remove any attendee not in compliance with this policy. Persons finding themselves in a situation where they feel their safety is at risk or who become aware of an attendee not in compliance with this policy should immediately locate the nearest staff member or volunteer so that the matter can be handled in an appropriate manner.

The Aurora Mini-Con is a family friendly event, and we ask that your costumes choices reflect that. While we respect your creativity and freedom of expression, we must insist that your costume be appropriate. Nudity and clothing with inappropriate language and/or hate speech and associated images will not be tolerated. Please review our costume policy below.  

The Information Table located nearest to the Central Library will always have staff available to assist you. Please feel free to approach this area with any questions or concerns.  

The Aurora Mini-Con does have a weapons policy. Please review that below before attend the con.  

Vendors will be present throughout the duration of the day and are the only ones with permission to hand out promotional materials and complete retail sales. No additional promotions or sales are allowed throughout the con. More information about becoming a vendor is coming soon.

No pets are allowed at the Aurora Mini-Con. This is for their safety and the safety of our guests. If you have pets, including iguanas, parrots, boa constrictors, or other nonhuman critters, please leave them at home. Service animals must have ID that clearly identifies them as such.
