Trash and Recycling Curbside Collection
Residential trash and recycling pick-up is not a city-provided service. It is the responsibility of the individual residents, homeowners associations, or multifamily building management company to arrange for service with one of the city's permitted trash and recycling haulers. The following companies are licensed with the city of Aurora to provide residential curbside services.
Compost & Yard Waste Service
Inclusion on this list does not imply endorsement or recommendation of any individual company by the city of Aurora. Check with the individual companies to determine services offered in your area; not all companies may be providing service in your neighborhood.
All homes in the city of Aurora are required to have weekly trash service. Trash needs to be in an approved, secure trash container, which some trash companies will provide for a small fee. Trash containers should be stored in the garage, backyard or properly screened in the rear side yard out of view of the adjacent street.
