The city of Aurora is continuing to work on its first-ever citywide multimodal transportation master plan and is accepting community input for Milestone 2 of Connecting Aurora.
The city wants to hear your thoughts about imagined transportation futures, and there are three remaining ways to get involved:
- Provide feedback online through Dec. 22 at EngageAurora.org/ConnectingAurora. Participants in the online survey can enter into a drawing for a $25 Target or King Soopers gift card.
- Talk online with the project team directly at a Wednesday, Dec. 4, virtual live town hall on Zoom at cutt.ly/VirtualTownHall from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Anyone who attends and stays until the end will be entered into a drawing for a Target gift card that night.
- Join us in person for dinner and a roundtable discussion from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, Aurora Room. Please RSVP at EngageAurora.org/ConnectingAurora to let us know you are coming so that we can plan for enough food. Spanish interpretation will be available at the roundtable discussion.
Follow us on social media or contact us at 720.984.2109 or [email protected] anytime to offer input.
Connecting Aurora will identify projects, policies, standards and programs to make the city’s transportation systems safer, more comfortable, and more convenient and reliable for everyone. The input gathered during this milestone will evaluate how different transportation and land use scenarios can best meet Connecting Aurora’s goals and help shape the project priorities.
