The city of Aurora’s annual Veterans Salute is back for 2024. This year’s event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center, 13200 E. 14th Place.

Guests will have the opportunity to mix and mingle over coffee at 10:30 a.m. Doors for the main event open at 11 a.m., where attendees can enjoy a special luncheon, live entertainment and a ceremony that honors all of our veterans. This year’s featured entertainment will be Bianca and the Flyboys performing a big band and jazz set.

The 2024 Veterans Salute will also include personal stories from local veterans, a performance from Mission Viejo Elementary School’s choir and a formal ceremony recognizing veterans from all military branches.

Tickets cost $15 per person, and sales end Friday, Oct. 25. Purchase yours by visiting or calling any of the city of Aurora’s recreation centers.
