Aurora City Council meetings are generally conducted on two Mondays each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Paul Tauer Aurora City Council Chamber at the Aurora Municipal Center (AMC). The building opens to the public at 4:45 p.m. on the day of each regular council meeting.
The Aurora City Council invites public comments during regular council meetings on specific agenda items or any other matters of city concern. To speak, individuals must sign up online or in person (see Addressing the Aurora City Council Chart below for specifics). Speakers must attend the council meeting in person, address the Council from the podium, state their full name, and indicate whether or not they are an Aurora resident. Signing up does not guarantee that an individual will get to speak due to time limits.
Select the Public Invited to be Heard or the Public Comment on Agenda Item links below to sign up online. The forms are open at 8 a.m. on the Friday before the council meeting and close at 1 p.m. on the day of the meeting. See the Addressing the Aurora City Council Chart for more information.
