All lobbyist and any person communicating directly, or soliciting others to communicate, with a covered official for the purpose of influencing or persuading a covered official must register with the City Clerk and file quarterly financial reports.

Compliance and Penalties
Lobbying in the City of Aurora requires the person or organization to comply with all requirements defined in Ordinance 2021-08. Noncompliance with any aspect of the A.C.C Article IX Regulation of Lobbyists may require the City Clerk to deny a certificate or registration. The City Clerk may impose a fine or bar or suspend a certified registration.
