Important Notice:
Quincy Reservoir will be closed to all body contact water activities until further notice. Body contact water activities include paddleboarding, wading and drinking. Quincy Reservoir is still open for trail use, fishing and boating. Those wishing to bring their boat into the water are advised to wear waders and to avoid body contact with the water.
Like any untreated, natural body of water, elevated levels of potentially toxic algae can occur. Normal activities can occur again once sampling shows that algae have normalized to a safe level.
Please note that Quincy Reservoir is not currently being used as a source of drinking water.
