Aurora Launches Neighborhood Engagement Survey

Aurora Launches Neighborhood Engagement Survey
Posted on 09/29/2021

The Aurora Housing and Community Services Department has launched a survey to gauge how residents engage with their neighbors, neighborhood and the city to best support these efforts with ongoing or new programming and resources. The survey can be found at EngageAurora.org/Neighborhood-Engagement

The deadline to complete this survey is Sunday, Oct. 31. The survey will be conducted twice per year (fall and spring) and should take no more than five minutes to complete.

“The city understands the value that strong neighborhood relationships bring to neighborhoods across the city,” said Charise Canales, community engagement manager for the Aurora Housing and Community Services Department. “We want to continue supporting these relationships to create more connected communities that benefit all.”

In addition to the neighborhood engagement survey, the city is looking to form a neighborhood leader network to help Aurora neighborhood groups thrive. The city will host a virtual meeting for neighborhood leaders and residents who want to get more involved to brainstorm what this network should like and how it can support the continued growth of neighborhood relationships.
