Lima and Wesley Sidewalk Widening-Archived

The Lima Street Sidewalk Widening Project is about to be in the construction phase, and is anticipated to widen some sidewalks in the Eastridge neighborhood. This project is the result of an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodation request from a resident in the area.

The project scope includes widening the sidewalks on the north side of South Lima Street from approximately 3 feet in width to 6 feet in width between East Wesley Place and East Wesley Avenue. The sidewalks will also be widened on the north side of East Wesley Avenue between South Lima Street to Eastridge Elementary School. There are also anticipated design improvements to the pedestrian crossings at the intersection of South Lima Street and East Wesley Avenue.
