The Aurora Fitzsimons Rotary Club and Cub Scout Pack #106 recently installed a Little Free Library at Generals Park.

The project brought together 15 volunteers between the two organizations for a combined 40 hours of volunteer work. The Cub Scouts refurbished the library, provided through Aurora Public Library’s Little Free Library ambassador program. The painted tree on the front of the library even features the Cubs’ fingerprints!

The Little Free Library was planted Oct. 3 at Generals Park on the Fitzsimons campus near Peoria Street and Colfax Avenue.

Thank you to the Aurora Fitzsimons Rotary Club and Cub Scout Pack #106 for their wonderful contribution to our community!
