In response to recent adjustments in the city’s operational structure, some functions of the Public Works Department have changed to positively enhance how we do business and provide quality services and infrastructure to residents and businesses.
The Building Division, public improvements, engineering, and land development review functions are now housed within the new Development Services Department. Fleet Services is now located under the General Management Department.

This division manages improvement and maintenance of roadways and city facilities, street sweeping, snow removal and the materials lab (evaluates materials used in roadway and utility construction).
