Neighborhood Beautification Grant Program

Neighborhood Cleanup

The city of Aurora's Neighborhood Beautification Grant Program started in 2015 and offers up to $60,000 a year to fund neighborhood-initiated beautification efforts that do four things:

  • Improve the physical condition of a neighborhood
  • Enhance neighborhood pride and identity
  • Promote self-reliance
  • Increase communication among neighbors

Managed by the city's neighborhood liaisons, the grant program provides up to $10,000 per council ward (and up to $5,000 per project). Funding must be spent during the award year. Since the program's inception, grants have been awarded to 85 projects.

Beautification grants will return in 2022. Check back for information on the public meeting that will be scheduled in January with 2022 program updates.
